Meet Courtney
Courtney has been in the beauty industry for over 17 years and loves how it allows her to combine creativity with connection. She began her career at Capri College in Dubuque and has continued to grow through advanced education, always staying on top of the latest trends and techniques to bring her guests the best.
She specializes in customized color, bridal styling, and is an IBE® Certified Extension Specialist. Courtney is passionate about creating lived-in, natural beauty that enhances her guests’ features, while also being ready for bold transformations when someone is craving a change. One of her favorite parts of this career is the variety—every day is different, and every guest brings something new to the chair.
Her approach is rooted in listening and authenticity. Courtney takes the time to truly hear her guests’ vision, ensuring they leave her chair not only loving their hair but also feeling comfortable, confident, and cared for. She also loves to share her professional knowledge with guests, from styling tips to the importance of using high-quality products that protect and extend the life of their look.
Outside The Salon
Courtney spends most of her time with her husband, their four kids, and their two puppies. Family is everything to her, and they love traveling, pool days, playing outside, and enjoying time with friends. She’s also a big coffee lover (her go-to is an iced cinnamon dolce latte), and she enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening whenever she finds a little time for herself. Her happy place is the beach—where the sound of the waves and ocean breeze instantly recharge her soul. In Dubuque, you’ll often find her at favorite local spots like L.May Eatery and Rose & Berries Café.
